Alex Hulme

Folk singer, writer, odd sock lover and loop maker, Alex Hulme has received plaudits from the Paul McCartney and Billy Ocean, with his work has receiving critical acclaim from the likes of Ultimate Guitar and the BBC Introducing. Alex conquers the intricate layering of loops on a live stage that would put many to shame; his live show is intense and joyous to watch at every turn. Alex’s new EP ‘The Leaves’ sold out within the first few days of release in June 2017.

The Leaves EP was recorded with renowned Liverpool Producer Danny Whitewood (Aquilo, Circa Waves) from which the main single Family Tree received acclaim from Clash Magazine and Music Crowns. Alex has vowed to release a new single every 6 weeks with his most recent release ‘Flow’ already being playlistsed in the local BBC introducing regions of Lancashire and Merseyside.

Having stormed the stages of SoundCity, kendal Calling and LIMF over the last year and with a wealth of new songs poised for release, keep an eye and an ear out for Alex.
