Echo Gecco

Echo Gecco first started jamming together in 2017, one jam became two then three and four until songs began to form and the idea of creating the band came to life. Once the band had enough songs ready they decided to book a show in Birmingham.

Influenced by the likes of Gong, David Bowie, The White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Oh Sees, Yes, Rush and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard the band write music where alternative rock and jazz undertones collude to deliver an infectious rhythm-driven sound supporting the soaring vocals of guitarist Josh Hunt. This is the pulse that connects the artist with the audience and the musicians to each other.

Highlights for the band so far have been headlining the Amped! Stage at Lakefest 2023, performing at Nozstock 2023, playing live for BBC Hereford and Worcester, supporting touring bands like The Bug Club, Hallam at sold out shows in Birmingham, playing shows around the country, live on Black Country Radio, headline slot at Worcester Music Festival, playing the BBC stage at LakeFest 2021 alongside the likes of Sea Sick Steve, New Model Army and Razorlight and most recently, being selected as special guests on one of the legs of the legendary prog rockers band Focus for their 50th anniversary tour

They live to play live and share their eclectic influences with an ability to be outrageously intense and solemnly tender within a single song.

Echo Gecco have signed to the independent Eingang Records label and have released a new full length album which is out now and available as a Digital Download, CD and Vinyl.
