About The Stellar Life

The Stellar Life, A pop punk/rock band based out of southern Delaware, started out as a few demos written by the singer Tyler Pennington in 2011. With emails being exchanged from Tyler to Richard and Stefanie Reines (R&S Management/Drive- Thru Records) they worked together and soon after The Stellar Life quickly formed with their first lineup. The band immediately went into writing new demos for their first EP release “Motherfu*kers” that debuted on Drive-Thru Records. TSL released their first single “Got Fu*ked Up” recorded with Rob Freeman of Audio Pilot Studios and appeared on AbsolutePunk which started a “buzz” for the band. The EP was based around a rebellious teenage angst aiming to connect with their fans relating to what it’s like to be young, wild, and living on the edge. The band went out on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour to support their release of their EP and spread the word about their band which helped them gain more of a following. TSL has also shared the stage with bands such as Cute is What We Aim For, Allstar Weekend, Hollywood Ending, and touring across the US with various other artists. Though the band started growing, they were put into a hiatus due to problems with members being from Delaware, New York and Ohio making it hard on the band mentally and financially. During the break, the other members moved on while Tyler kept the band going. Reaching out to other musicians who had also been long time friends from the Delaware area/local scene, The Stellar Life has landed a solid new lineup, which consists of current members Jimmy Sawchek on bass, Rich Strohm on guitar and Marcus Pyne on drums. The band has recently finished their newest EP “Your Average Cult Classic” and are looking to release it in the late-summer of 2014 and plans to tour to promote the EP.
