Fantastic. Jordan, Emily and the band are so incredibly talented. Such a treat to have them at the Dakota this month. My friends and I have gone to 4-7 shows. We always come out humming a new song.

This show was incredible. Passionate, sincere, heartfelt. Jordan has incredible range and delivers such a captivating performance. His rapport with the audience is genuine. Go to a concert. It is such an uplifting experience. One of the hardest working musicians. Always striving to improve, evolve, and bring creativity to his craft. Last night in addition to his band, he was accompanied by a choir. So powerful. Keep making magic Jordan.

About Jordan Hart
Growing up in the thriving folk music community of Alberta, Jordan Hart learned to respect the power of an honest story told through a simple song. The natural beauty of Alberta can still be heard in Hart’s music which draws images of guitars strummed by birch fires and mountain lakes surrounded by pine trees.
His self-produced debut EP Only Pieces of the Truth takes the listener on a fully encompassing and highly relatable emotional journey, narrating the struggles of human connection with daringly authentic vocal performances. Hart’s production style presents the listener with a fresh organic perspective on their own reality using slightly distorted natural elements and unique lyrical imagery. Featured on Youtube performance platforms Mahogany and So Far Sound as well as on Canadian main stream television channels CTV, ETalk, Breakfast TV and Entertainment Tonight, Hart’s critically acclaimed debut struck a chord amongst tastemakers. The emotive cinematic soundscapes of his EP made their way from studio to screen as his single “Whole” was featured on Grey’s Anatomy and single “Freedom” featured on award winning animated short, Freebird which doubles as the song’s music video.
As a young performer Hart developed a deep love for busking which led him to play on the streets of many major cities. He attributes his raw, compelling live performances to his experience of playing for people on the street and claims that busking is the highest form of performance education that he has encountered. Though he has been selling out venues for a few years now, you can still catch him playing for unexpecting crowds on the streets of Toronto where he currently resides.
