Reuben Vincent carry’s the wisdom of a soul who has lived many lives before. Born December 31st, 2000, The 23 year old rapper & producer is a generational talent straight out of Charlotte, NC by way of West Africa, Liberia to be exact. Lyrically known for his witty wordplay, balancing introspection, awareness & bravado. Vincent explores generational trauma & triumph, self identity, success, & struggle, all over a gumbo palette of soulful, southern, & tribal sounds. In 2014 at the tender age of 13, Reuben put out a mixtape that garnered the attention of 9th Wonder through a twitter fan. Leading him to meeting 9th in Raleigh, NC as he allowed RV to have full access to his studio throughout his teenage years. As Reuben matured into young adulthood, he would sacrifice his summers and springs break to record as an escape through some of the burdens and struggles him and his family were dealing with. Reuben hunger lead him to inking with 9th’s independent label at 17. As Vincent’s profile grew, his name buzzed throughout the industry as a special talent, which lead him to linking his deal with Jay-Z’s imprint Roc Nation on his birthday in 2021. Reuben transcends generations in his music mixing in his influences of the new generation with the legends of the golden era.
