talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.

Chappell Roan’s show was outstanding. She performed her best for our audience. So much energy and such an amazing voice! I want to see her again as soon as possible!

Just incredible, she was so beautiful and such a great performer. The crowd was polite and everyone looked out for one another. The overflow parking was definitely convenient, but waiting on the only two shuttles they provided after the fact was not so convenient. That’s my only complaint, but for a sold out show, what can you expect? Overall, one of the best times I’ve had at a venue and Chappell killed it! Hope to see her again here soon! And looking forward to more concerts at Firefly in the future.

I had an absolute blast outside of the fact that we were pressed closer together than sardines in a can and there were not a lot of breaks to catch your breath between songs.

Chappell was super fun, and we had such a great time! She had fun with the crowd and had great stage personality. We will definitely see her next time in town. I was super stoked to be able to grab her album at the merch table. It sounds great!

Chappell was so good!! Tbh, I hadn’t really listened to her music before seeing that she’d be the opener for my GUTS Tour date. I’m so glad, Olivia Rodrigo introduced me to Chappell. Her music is incredible and so fun and beautiful but her energy is energizing, sexy, and so fun. I love her outfits for GUTS too!

I’ve never heard someone sing like that in person. Stunning. Great venue and incredible crowd. Staff kept the merch and concession lines going fast! Chappell Roan will be an international super star.

Chappell Roan was INCREDIBLE and it was amazing to be at her concert 🩷 Truly she embodied the stage and I really want to see more drag queens as openers now. It was a little sad how often she was drowned out by the crowd, the sound mixing could’ve been better. Chappell is known for being a superstar in live so we wanna hear her! The low stars are because 170 Russell could clean up its act - how is the venue still sticky everywhere before everyone even got inside? And the cloakroom system was verified via text message when there’s no reception in the space (plus the free wifi was dead lol). The security guards were also not across gender inclusivity, which was jarring at a concert that’s all about LGBT+ community and celebration.

Such a life changing concert experience. Everyone dressing up with a theme made me feel so connected to everyone around me, as well as the fact everyone did the HOT TO GO dance.

Chappell Roan and supporting act Sellma Soul and Scarlet Fever Drag Act Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre – Brisbane 25 November 2023 The beautiful Brisbane Powerhouse theatre venue was treated to an uplifting and joyful rock performance by Chappell Roan and her incredible band touring the new album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” and her supporting act Sellma Soul and Scarlet Fever Drag Show. The Powerhouse theatre was the perfect setting for this intimate and surprising show. It was surprising for so many reasons. It was one of the biggest audiences to attend an event at the Powerhouse theatre with over 1000 hardcore fans in attendance (everyone except for Harry knew every song). There was a Drag Show before a rock band performance which is pretty unique for Australian audiences – and not just any ordinary Drag Show but one with artists performing original material and demonstrating to a new generation the art behind the act. And, Chappell, herself, was very unwell but she did not cancel the show – she went on and what an amazing performance she gave to her fans and audience. Chappell Roan then came to the stage to perform just about the whole of the “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” debut album with a very tight band of professional musicians. The musicianship, song writing skills and performance “PJ party” on display was terrific even though she was visibly unwell. She launched into performing her debut album and surged off the energy of the very committed fan base into: ‘Coffee’, ‘Red Wine Supernova’, ‘Hot To Go!’, ‘Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl’, ‘My Kink Is Karma’, ‘Kaleidoscope’ and ‘Pink Pony Club’. But where she really shone was on ‘Casual’ and ‘Picture You’: perfectly executed and really bold pop songs. A great night!

One of the most fun, energetic and empowering concerts I’ve been to. Everyone was so excited and the openers brought the energy!! Chappell knows how to keep the crowd screaming, and it makes sense because her songs are so scream-able. Loved the Wonder too!!

This was so fun!! The venue was so high energy, and Chappell did amazing! The queens who performed were amazing! The show had to be stopped a couple times but Chappell handled it well and everyone was okay. I can’t wait for her next tour!

Best concert I’ve ever been to, crowd was super great. Chappell and her band are amazing and interact so well with the crowd it feels super communal and safe while we all have fun and dress up 👑💕💋👽

High energy. Great performance. Oversold venue. This was a great show. Chappell Roan has an incredible voice and the crowd had so much energy. It was a lot of fun. I only wish this venue didn’t oversell. There were far too many people for the amount of space. I’m short, but I can usually peak between people in order to see the stage and performers. There were so many people that I was unable to see the show.

I was floored by the great energy of her fans, first and foremost. The venue lent itself perfectly to the show, and I don't think there was a bad view in the whole room! The queens were a pefect opener, and Chappell and her band were absolutely flawless. Prepare to dance and sing your heart out, and don't be one of the 4 people who didn't show up in costume :)

Seriously one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The venue, the crowd, and Chappell herself were all phenomenal. If I could follow her on this tour and go to every show she ever does in the future, I would in a heartbeat. 10/10 recommend <3

The Rave’s lack of climate control might’ve had us all melting, but that didn’t stop Chappell from putting on an amazing show. High energy, incredible voice, and wonderfully inclusive! Can’t wait to see her on her next tour.

The show from start to finish was amazing I love the outfits, lighting changes, and the range of the different styles of music and Chappell Roans voice! It was absolutely epic to see her live and be everything I wanted and more. I can’t wait for her next show!
