Chappell Roan

Her show was absolutely fabulous. She gave 350% energy, her voice was astounding, her musicians were fabulous, and she is an overall incredible performer. If I had one note…we did not need almost 6 hours of openers before seeing her. We were dying by the time she finally performed, and I know a lot of people around us were complaining as well. Trixie Mattel for 30 minutes, Hemlocke Springs for 45 minutes, Chappell for an hour and a half. Would have sooo been worse the money we spent!

I went to this concert with my mom, she and I loved it so much we loved the performance and the three drag queens (special guests) that started the concert. Chappell sang every song from the ride and fall off a Midwest princess, her 3 newest singles and love me anyway. We had such an Amazing night. Everyone was really nice and fun. I loved it and lost all my voice for a day.

Just incredible, she was so beautiful and such a great performer. The crowd was polite and everyone looked out for one another. The overflow parking was definitely convenient, but waiting on the only two shuttles they provided after the fact was not so convenient. That’s my only complaint, but for a sold out show, what can you expect? Overall, one of the best times I’ve had at a venue and Chappell killed it! Hope to see her again here soon! And looking forward to more concerts at Firefly in the future.

this was literally life changing i can’t believe i actually saw her perform i was crying and bro she performed barracuda and it was so good Chappell is truly one of the most kindest talented humans to exist and she’s changed my life in so many ways and I’m just so happy that she stays true to herself it really inspires me and other young people to just be themselves and not care if people judge them

It was a great time! Artist was beyond amazing and the show was everything we could have hoped for. Not enough praise can be given there. The one star off goes for the venue entrance and exit. For a 15k person concert at Westfair the concert had to delay for people to make it in the entrance, and upon leaving we sat in the car for 2hrs waiting for cars to even start moving. For something of this size a shuttle system or alternate routes need to be built. All other factors of this concert were amazing though. Overall a huge yes for us.

She was amazing as always, a queen! Venue was a different story. Having thousands of people in the sun only selling $10 Canned water and fried food in 80 degree weather was not cool at all. The lack of direction when forming lines for entering the amphitheater was horrific. In no way should the concert goers be directing others where to go and handling rude green bean giants trying to cut in front of individuals who’ve been standing there for 6+ hours. I had the BEST time seeing Chappell at Westfair amphitheater!! I got soundcheck VIP and got to the very front of the venue. Her stage presence is insanely impressive and her raw vocals are amazing. She selects local drag queens to perform for her opening act and they were all amazing as well. If you have the chance seeing Chappell live I highly recommend it. It’s definitely a night that I will never forget and will hold close to my heart<3

The concert itself was amazing! She delivered a high energy show that we’ll never forget. She is amazing and it was fantastic to be the final show of the Midwest princess tour. However, no act as popular as her should ever again have a show at Westfair. Traffic in and out was a complete shitshow. They held the show for like 45 minutes or so because people were stuck in traffic trying to get there to use tickets they paid a lot of $ for. And that was not even as bad as when it was time to leave. How can it take 2 hours (1.5 of sitting still) to get home when I live 15 miles away? Westfair is a disgrace. They need to stick with acts that draw a few thousand people until they can get their shit together with those access roads.

Chappell Roan was as expected - rockin, glorious and generous with her gift! First bank amphitheater was a fantastic, well staffed venue. Crowd was fun loving, positive and DRESSED! I did expect the crowd to get loud and go crazy for her but I found TN to be more tame than expected. Maybe simply super respectful to the performers (?). I feel super lucky to have had an alarm on that presale.

The Chappell Roan Concert was amazing. She did not disappoint, infact we think she sounded better live. Her voice is so hauntingly addictive! The classics just kept coming, one after the other! Not many artists can get away with just the the lights, the music and her voice, no fancy gimmicks! Oh except the wind machine 🤩 Can I also say, the venue 02 Academy Brixton, were amazing! I felt that the whole staff cared about the patrons, their well being and safety. So well organised, efficient and safe. Some staff went out of their way to help us with access needs and ensured we were safe going in and exiting the venue. The venue is unique in decor, quite gothic! I understand why Chappell Roan chose the venue. It felt personal and up close, even though we were two rows from the back in the circle. The only thing I would say, is ,as myself and my daughter are both very short. once everyone stood up as soon as the music began, our ability to see was reduced and I spent the whole time holding onto my daughter standing on the seat and watching through my phone camera 😔. However, the sound quality was superb in the venue. An immersive atmosphere, great from the moment we arrived at the venue, with all the fans complying to the dress code of 'Kink is Karma' for Thursday evening show! 6 out of 5 stars !! 🤩

The venue was fantastic, such an amazing, open space for a Pride Festival. And Chappel Roan? An ethereal, poignant goddess that everyone should see live (or don't, more for me). Genuinely she is just as good live as she is on record, if not better. Her vocal range is INSANE and man, does she put on a heck of a show. I couldn't even *see* her from where I was standing but I had the best, best time. Make sure you learn the HOT-TO-GO dance - the feeling of synchronized dancing and singing with 25,000 people is unreal. Long Live Chappell Roan <3

Seeing Chappell Roan in such an intimate setting after her massive rise in fame the last months was INCREDIBLE. Not only was she and her opening drag queens absolutely amazing, but the whole process entering the venue was so smooth and the security team was so fantastic. We were front middle barricade and they were so on top of getting people water when needed, attentive to any emergencies, and made it very clear that if we were being crushed, they would pull us out if signalled. The entire experience was nothing but positive for my group and I would come back to this venue in a heartbeat

This was my first concert ever and I absolutely loved every second of it!! Chappell was absolutely amazing, she sounded fantastic, and was so entertaining. It was so much fun to scream along to her songs and it was an unforgettable experience. Even though we were towards the back of the venue the seats were great and we had an amazing view of the stage. I would definitely see a show there again! The openers were so fun to watch that we tipped them at the end of the night! Definitely glad we didn't miss them! I would absolutely go see her again and highly recommend seeing her if you have the opportunity to!!

Artist was amazing. Venue needs to work on parking situation and food service. I arrived with plenty of time but it took way longer to park than it should have. Then the line to get into the venue was at least a mile long, no exaggeration. It wrapped around a large parking lot and around the corner down the street. I couldn’t even see the end. Why is there only 1 entrance and 10,000 people? There were only about 4 or 5 people scanning tickets. Then trying to get food was a mess. They took my order and then there was no organization to fullfilling orders. As chaotic as it was, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, just seams to be poorly organized.

The show was fantastic! Absolutely loved Chappell. She was so fun. The venue was cool, and the food options were good and not super expensive. However, I rated it lower than I would have because multiple people passed out, and it's very difficult to get the attention of staff so a medic can make it to them. It creates a very dangerous situation that seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Some barriers to create a path for the medical team seem like they would help. Or some kind of system for concertgoers to alert staff of a medical emergency

Chappell Roan was INCREDIBLE and it was amazing to be at her concert 🩷 Truly she embodied the stage and I really want to see more drag queens as openers now. It was a little sad how often she was drowned out by the crowd, the sound mixing could’ve been better. Chappell is known for being a superstar in live so we wanna hear her! The low stars are because 170 Russell could clean up its act - how is the venue still sticky everywhere before everyone even got inside? And the cloakroom system was verified via text message when there’s no reception in the space (plus the free wifi was dead lol). The security guards were also not across gender inclusivity, which was jarring at a concert that’s all about LGBT+ community and celebration.

Chappell Roan and supporting act Sellma Soul and Scarlet Fever Drag Act Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre – Brisbane 25 November 2023 The beautiful Brisbane Powerhouse theatre venue was treated to an uplifting and joyful rock performance by Chappell Roan and her incredible band touring the new album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” and her supporting act Sellma Soul and Scarlet Fever Drag Show. The Powerhouse theatre was the perfect setting for this intimate and surprising show. It was surprising for so many reasons. It was one of the biggest audiences to attend an event at the Powerhouse theatre with over 1000 hardcore fans in attendance (everyone except for Harry knew every song). There was a Drag Show before a rock band performance which is pretty unique for Australian audiences – and not just any ordinary Drag Show but one with artists performing original material and demonstrating to a new generation the art behind the act. And, Chappell, herself, was very unwell but she did not cancel the show – she went on and what an amazing performance she gave to her fans and audience. Chappell Roan then came to the stage to perform just about the whole of the “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” debut album with a very tight band of professional musicians. The musicianship, song writing skills and performance “PJ party” on display was terrific even though she was visibly unwell. She launched into performing her debut album and surged off the energy of the very committed fan base into: ‘Coffee’, ‘Red Wine Supernova’, ‘Hot To Go!’, ‘Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl’, ‘My Kink Is Karma’, ‘Kaleidoscope’ and ‘Pink Pony Club’. But where she really shone was on ‘Casual’ and ‘Picture You’: perfectly executed and really bold pop songs. A great night!

High energy. Great performance. Oversold venue. This was a great show. Chappell Roan has an incredible voice and the crowd had so much energy. It was a lot of fun. I only wish this venue didn’t oversell. There were far too many people for the amount of space. I’m short, but I can usually peak between people in order to see the stage and performers. There were so many people that I was unable to see the show.

I was floored by the great energy of her fans, first and foremost. The venue lent itself perfectly to the show, and I don't think there was a bad view in the whole room! The queens were a pefect opener, and Chappell and her band were absolutely flawless. Prepare to dance and sing your heart out, and don't be one of the 4 people who didn't show up in costume :)
