About Killing Cartisano
KC is Roberta Cartisano, musician composer producer player (bass, piano, synth, guitar).
Killing Cartisano is a departure from Roberta’s previous incarnation under her own full name. You can check out her last album here as a point of reference: www.robertacartisano.it
This new album, titled Killing Cartisano Vol. 1, is all sung in English, and is much more rock and folk based, with elements of Roberta’s electronic roots creeping in at times. There are grand production moments featuring string sections, horns, and thick distorted guitars. The sound is a hybridization of Roberta’s Italian musical roots, and an all-San Francisco band.
With her last album she played more 100 shows around Europe / U.S.A.
