José Gonzalez, better known as Wasted Mind, started to spin records in the comfort of his bedroom at the age of fourteen. Not long after his first spinning adventures, he bought his first studio equipment and started to experiment with the art of producing hardcore tunes. At the age of 23, Wasted Mind signed a recording contract at Rotterdam Records. His debut performance wasn’t long after he signed at Rotterdam Records. In 2011, he performed for the very first time at Nightmare Festival in Ahoy Rotterdam and resulted in many more performances after. In the following three years, Wasted Mind released many tracks and performed almost every weekend around Europe.

From the moment of signing at the Masters of Hardcore label at the end of 2012, he made some major impact with releases like “Become A Master”, “Here We Go” and the anthem he created for Nirvana of Noise.

In 2015, Before Wasted Mind stopped working in the music scene, because of health problems, he released EP ‘Paradise’, which consisted three Wasted Mind tracks. After that he decided to step back and recover as best as he can.

In the beginning of 2019, the Hardcore scene was thrilled by the line-up reveal of biggest hard dance festival Defqon.1, where Wasted Mind his name appeared on the major BLACK stage. Wasted Mind is back, harder than ever and determined to share the real hardcore sounds again.
