Flak N' Birds

We started the band in Tapei Taiwan when we were 11. We were called THE YING YANGS. We started playing all kind of awesome asian instuments, we wanted to be the biggest band of all south asia! Matt started playin Chaozhou, Raph some Jinghu and me TY some fuckin sanxian. At the age of 17 the press praised us saying we were the best TaiwanesePOP band since Lim Giong! Everything was perfect we were making millions of yuáns!! But in 2007 we heard ROCK N' ROLL for the first time by our good friend Rong-Hong Hong. WHO'S NEXT by The Who.. It changed our lives forever. We started to discover what we've been missing all these years, we smoked pot listening to The Beatles, took acid to Led Zepplin, cocain to The Sex Pistols, heroin to Nirvana, smoked crack cocaine to The Libertines. Finaly in september 2010 we decided to move to MONTREAL, QUEBEC, AMERICA! Home of iNdiE Rock GODS Arcade Fire to fulfill our rock n' Roll dream! We formed Flak N' Birds an Indie Punk Rock Band with electric guitars and shit, no more fuckin Gu-zheng. Now we can't wait to be on PITCHFORK magazine and make our next music video in VHS!!!!
