About Alderic Montana

Aaron Jones, better known by his stage name PlzDND (or DND for short), is a songwriter, recording artist, music producer, sound engineer, and entrepreneur. Since the age of 9, he's had a strong infatuation with music and was highly influenced by artists such as Three 6 Mafia, UGK, 8 Ball & MJG and many more. DND became highly inspired to become a songwriter at 13 after seeing Nile Greenberg on an episode of MTV’s Made. With the help of a close friend (who later on went to become his manager) DND managed to sign a record deal with a small independent label at age 15. During that time he ghost-wrote for multiple independent artists throughout Saint Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis and other small cities in Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana. In addition, DND also played a role in co-directing music videos, executive producing and designing mixtape & album covers. Shortly after graduating high school he parted ways with his label due to multiple failed attempts in releasing any music.

After years of struggling to get into a recording studio, DND finally decided to invest his money and bought a microphone. It was then during the early days of his recording career that he picked up audio engineering. In October of 2012, DND's first demo tape was released which lead to consistent mixtape releases and features throughout 2012 and 2013. DND had previously spent years as a free agent until catching the attention of another small town label. This later resulted in him signing a one-year promotion deal allowing him to go on a small three-month long tour throughout the mid-west. Unfortunately, DND's deal was cut short after drama emerged amongst labelmates over a dispute relating to money. Back at square one struggling to gain exposure for his music, as well as dealing with the death of his longtime friend and manager in 2014, DND decided to place his lifelong dream of becoming a recording artist on the back burner and focus solely on music production.

Things finally started falling into place for DND in early spring of 2016 after doing years of consistent research on his passion & perfecting his craft. Even though production once was at the forefront of his career, writing and recording have never left DND's musical plans. He continues to ghostwrite for various unsigned and underground artist while still maintaining his own music career. As his personal and business life started shifting direction so did his musical preferences. This has caused him to branch off from Rap and Hip Hop to more Alternative R&B sounding music. DND continues to experiment and blend different music genres in hopes of perfecting his unique signature sound. No matter how much experimenting he does, DND always manages to stay true to the down south culture and sound that he was brought up on. With nothing more than a mere dream, loads of ambition and talent, DND is determined to turn every one of his dreams into a reality.
