El Moono are back with Chains, the first single from their highly anticipated debut album, recorded at Middle Farm Studios.
The band are further exploring their off-kilter and oftentimes mind-bending riff writing, emotive soundscapes and expressive lyricism to create a record that will further prove their “genre-phobic” reputation.
2022 saw the band's release of the critically acclaimed EP ‘Temple Corrupted’ via Lockjaw Records, (Belvedere, Jamie Lenman, DARKO) and heavy touring around the UK & Europe (with the likes of Black Peaks, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, The Hyena Kill and more) which cemented the band as favourites within the post-metal/post-hardcore scene. The EP explored themes of human self-destruction and depression, containing seven emotive tracks that flow together to create an overarching musical narrative with poignant concepts.
