Day One

Phelim and Donni met in Bristol and formed the group in 1998,
Their first lp Ordinary Man was released in 2000 on Virgin/Melancolik/Astralwerks
Their 2nd lp in 2006 (Japan rush production)
2007 Europe (one little indian)
Their music has been used in many tv/film/advertising campaigns incl Cruel intentions,The big tease,Trigger happy tv,Skins,Six feet under,Cashmere Mafia,Adidas,caterpillar,etc.
They are currently working on their 3rd lp with Mario Caldato Jr.

Dayone is also the name of a punk/metal/hardcore band from Auckland, New Zealad. The band existed briefly during the turn of the century releasing one full length album, "Less Than Perfect".
Dayone features Evan Short, previously of Concord Dawn, currently of Auckland metal band Subtract and various other musicians currently active in the NZ underground.
