About Barricade
There are TWO bands with this name. One from Pennsylvania, another from Washington State.
1) Hardcore band from Schwenksville, PA
In late 2004, Barricade burst onto the Southeast PA hardcore scene with an unstoppable fury and determination. The band was a product of strong anti-fascist sentiment, working class values, as well as a jaded outlook on the stagnant local music scene. They released their first EP, "Choose A Side" in March of 2005. They played out whenever and wherever possible in an effort to spread the music and the message, and to build a loyal fanbase. In 2006, after a few lineup changes and a deal with Blackout!/ Creep records, Barricade continues to play relentlessly with no signs of slowing down. Their first full length "Be Heard" is out now and be on the lookout for big things in 2008.
