About Fracture(818)

Fracture is a modern heavy metal band based out of Los Angeles, CA. With a distinct sound they like to call "beautifully brutal" Fracture combines catchy clean choruses with brutal breakdowns and down tuned grooves similar to bands such as Machine Head, Gojira and NothingFace.

Brothers Waylon Jennings(vocals/guitar) and John Caison(lead guitar/vocals) relocated in 2009 from Florence,South Carolina to Los Angeles, CA to pursue their music careers, live out their dreams and after a couple lineup changes they have found the missing components with Iorden Mitev(drums) and Brandon Alayon(bass). Their fanbase has grown rapidly due to their hard work ethic, national radioplay and consistent shows in the West Coast region. Opening for acts such as SevenDust, 36 Crazyfists, Act of Defiance, Memphis May Fire and The Defiled just add to the reason why they are becoming a fan favorite in Los Angeles.

After 2 solid EP's under their belt in "Weather the Storm(2012)" and "Devour the Truth(2016)" Fracture is releasing their highly anticipated full length album "The Search for Solace" on 8/18/17 which was produced/mixed by Alex Crescioni at Stygian Sound and Mastered by Mike Wells Mastering. The band's intense artwork is done by Matthew Wajek Art to visually match their music style and is always a topic of discussion for the band. They release the single "Fear" as a lyric video when pre-orders start on 7/10/17. This album will be sure to turn some heads and the band has plans on touring the West Coast in support of this album heavily.

Fracture began in February of 2009, when brothers Waylon Jennings and John Caison decided to move from South Carolina to California, wanting to give their dreams a legitimate shot by relocating to the center of the action. They arrived in Los Angeles hungry, full of determination, and with their minds focused on the task of creating a band that would destroy anything out at the moment. Fueled by their passion, Waylon and John, both vocalists and guitarists, began recording material while starting the search for serious and dedicated musicians who would help their goal. Over a year later, their lack of success in finding the right people led them to believe their dream might not become a reality. Things started to come together in April of 2010, when the duo met Jordan Mirochnick and Brandon Jorge Alayon through mutual friends. With Brandon on bass and Jordan behind the drum kit, the four instantly connected, not only musically, but personally as well. Fracture was born. Wanting to distance themselves from any other band out there, they started sculpting their sound by combining catchy choruses and vocal harmonies with brutal breakdowns, thus vying for both the ear of the radio listener and the devoted metalhead. Remarkable, emotive solos, a pummeling rhythm section, and most importantly, powerful vocals with personal and meaningful lyrics, are just some of the strengths of the band. Their relentless approach to their music can be summed up in the explanation of their name: ' Fracture' represents the individual struggles that each member has faced in real life, as well as encapsulating their 'bend but never break' mentality in just one word.Their debut release "Weather the Storm" in 2012 was received with high success and radio airplay on several stations across the world including Krave Radio, Adrenaline 101 Radio, Metal World Radio and many more. "Shattered" and "Erase/Embrace" were the singles off of the EP. In April 2013 Fracture parted ways with drummer Jordan Mirochnick and acquired Iorden Mitev, drummer from Society 1. Fracture won the Rock for Dimes Battle of the Bands in 2013 and pushed 1000 copies of "Weather the Storm". In April 2016 Fracture released their sophmore EP "Devour the Truth" with singles "Forever Girl" and "Pride" receiving strong radio play more than the last EP. Stronger now than ever, Fracture has consistently played around the San Fernando Valley, building a steady buzz around their name opening up for bands such as Sevendust, 36 Crazyfists, Act of Defiance, The Defiled, Memphis May Fire and more. They also played the NAMM Schecter Guitars Indie Party with All Hail the Yeti in Jan.2017 with a well received response. Not content to occupy just one spot, the band has also played all the historic venues in Hollywood multiple times, including The Whisky A Go Go, The Key Club, and The Viper Room, just to name a few, as well as leaving their mark on Las Vegas on several occasions. With their first full length album "The Search for Solace" , dropping in August 2017, Fracture is determined to branch out, expand their ever-growing and rabid fan base, and leave their mark on both the metal and music scene in general, showing the world their undying passion for the music.
