DMV's latest rising star is the product of a musical genius; her father: Byron "BJ" Jackson; a well known musician out of the DMV area as well.
De'Lise was taught by her dad and has been playing instruments since the tender age of 5, with focus on the piano and guitar. This 18 year old has evolved into an amazing singer/songwriter with immense admiration for artist like: SZA, Jhene Aiko, Kehlani, Rihanna and Layla Hathaway. De'Lise is currently working on her first EP and she's the proud to mention that she's the proud author of the entire project. Her first single:"On You" is a fun and fresh universal collaboration of reggae, calypso and r&b, which was released in April of 2017. "On You" was produced by Grammy Nominated Producer: D-Moet and is followed by a video directed by Brandon "Supa Coop" Cooper from the DMV also. The Official "On You" video can be viewed on YouTube.
You can find De'Lise performing all over the DMV area in local music festivals, as well as in New Jersey, Philadelphia's Dell East Music Center and New York.
