About Dj Easy

From Brooklyn NY, to Tiffin, OH, DJ Easy has diligently made his way into the music game. With a late start, beginning his passion at the age of 16, a lot of work has been done in a short period of time. His attendance at parties thrown by DJ Flex Onee got his feet wet with the party life and his interest in deejaying was slightly inspired by The Main Event, Flex Onee. It all began at the age of 16 when a group of his close friends suggested he throw a party. Without a DJ, there is no party so Easy stepped up to the plate and knocked the ball out the park at Enigma Hookah Lounge in Sheepshead Bay. The successful night made him realize, "this is something I want to do" Subsequent to this party, he began to work with Zee Black, a promoter in the teen night life, which allowed him to extend his work spinning at more parties at various locations such as Enigma and Monaco Night Club. As time went on, he continued spinning at smaller parties that friends decided to throw at small venues and the Tiki Bar in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. With little experience under his belt, DJ Easy was put to the challenge. He was offered a gig at The Electric Warehouse, a location in which well known DJ's have spun at including Hot 97's Funk Master Flex, DJ Camilo, and DJ Kast One to name a few! Tonight We Are Young was a series of parties which included 1,000+ people looking to have a good time, and included DJ Easy on the set numerous times. He also spun there closing a party in which Lloyd Banks and his team appeared and performed at. Investments were made, and Easy got his first personal setup, a Vestax VCI-300 controller, which he only had for a couple of months until he upgraded to another controller, a Numark NS6. The controller world was not for him as he wanted to dig into the real roots of the DJ world. He then got his first set of turntables, Technic 1200MK2's at the age of 18. Since this time, there has been no going back. DJ Easy has been a resident DJ at The Palace and Shadow Lounge, spun at many of events thrown by well known entrepreneur, Kyle Rhodes, opened a set at B.B Kings located in the heart of NYC'S Times Square for Power 105.1's, DJ Envy, played at "The Warehouse" in Brooklyn, closing for Lloyd Banks, has done corporate events, as well as private parties. He also has extended his talent to the state of Ohio where he currently attends college. There, he DJ's at many school events, house parties, and local bars. With an extensive library of music ranging beyond latin, house, hip-hop, and old school music, he enjoys moving his crowds however he has to. Having a good time, and pleasing people is all he knows and the future can only get brighter for DJ Easy as he is only 20 years old and plans to continue his passion of deejaying.
