Outstanding. A voice that could sing anything and make it sound great to say nothing of her piano chops. Can't wait to see her again.

May 2nd 2022
Veronica’s performance at Larcom Theatre in Beverly Mass. on Apr. 30, 2022 was nothing short of brilliant. She walked out on stage with the poise of a seasoned veteran, at 18 years young, and shocked the audience with her virtuoso piano playing and commanding vocals. Veronica’s upbeat songs and incredible stage energy have her standing and dancing at her piano while executing the rhythms and melodies of her songs. From the first note on, she dazzled the audience with original songs from her new CD- You Ain’t Lucky- and her tributes to blues and jazz greats like Jerry Lee Lewis and Thelonious Monk. For the next two hours she rocked the house with her boogie woogie blues and original songs bringing the audience to their feet on several occasions.
Veronica put on an incredible performance demonstrating her talents as an emerging vocalist and pianist to the blues/jazz world. Her band also demonstrated a tightness indicative of bands that have played together for years. The sax player embellished the call and response style songs with tasty fills and explosive solos. The drummer is a seasoned pro with tight blues/jazz rhythms. Veronica’s bluesy shuffle, “Put Your Wig on Mama”, showed a glimpse of her experiences being raised in a small town in New Hampshire, and “The Memphis Train” conveyed her memories of the South with that bluesy locomotive vibe.
This was truly a memorable concert demonstrating incredible talent and style usually associated with seasoned veterans. Veronica has been nominated for two awards-Best Emerging Artist Album and Instrumental Piano-by the Blues Foundation, and she deserves them both.

About Veronica Lewis
Veronica Lewis, "one of the most promising torchbearers of American Rock ‘n Roll" by American Songwriter Magazine.
At 20 years old, this American Indie singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is already carving a niche for herself as a deeply blue, raw-energy artist. Hailing from the backwoods of New Hampshire, her music merges American Roots Rock and a 90’s Indie/Alt Rock vibe, reflecting a powerfully vulnerable songwriter and musician.
Veronica’s sonic odyssey is part of the groundswell of female artists who are redefining the meaning of singer/songwriter in modern American rock. Veronica's inspirations are Soccer Mommy, Julia Jacklin, Snail Mail, Sharon Van Etten, Men I Trust, Mitski, Julien Baker, Fiona Apple, and PJ Harvey.
Her upcoming Indie/Alternative debut, “Too Late For Tears” slated for Summer 2024, delivers an uncompromising blend of retro and modern Indie Rock. Veronica presents a soundtrack to navigate the tumultuous journey of self-discovery.
