John Butler Trio

Extraordinaire concert. Tout seul sur la scène du théâtre avec la Méditerranée en décor. L'un des meilleurs guitariste que j'ai vu. Les deux heures de show ont presque paru trop courtes.

I’ve seen John Butler Trio around 15 times so it’s obvious that I’m a big fan! This was a little different in that John was alone on stage for like 2.5 hours and he was awesome! He’s a huge talent and a really interesting, funny guy. There were a lot of stories and personal tidbits throughout the night that just added to the intimate feeling and connection. There were a couple of songs I wish he would have played but other than that it was a night to remember. 💙

I’ve seen John play about a dozen times over the years but this was his best performance. He did a rendition of Oh Danny Boy at the end as an ode to his grandfather which was fantastic.

Have seen John once before solo and as the trio over 20 times over the last 19 years. This show was amazing. I had front row tickets right in front of him. He is such a riveting story teller. He played and spoke and sang for over 2 hours. The venue was mind blowing. This gig will be so hard for me to ever top.

The MacAllister Amphitheatre was a surprisingly awesome venue! They make up for not having regular concessions by having food trucks and other vendors, and if you ask me that is superior. Now for the show... IT'S JOHN BUTLER!!! If these guys ever put on a bad show I. Certainly have never seen or heard of it. The show was mostly high tempo, but dropping down to play classics like loosing you and an amazing 15 minutes performance of Ocean. Honestly, if you ever have a chance to see the John Butler Trio just to it.

What an incredable concert! The support acts Stella donnally and the Teskey brothers where amazing and John butler trio is even better to watch and listen to live. Such an amazing atmosphere at the riverstage! Being outside with your feet on the grass, creates a real down to earth feel and no matter where you sit (or how short you are) you get a clear view and hear it all perfectly.

When John Butler saw the bats flying and was tripping out! He said he loved the show Canberra put on for him and had never seen anything like it before! Great day at the office for him! Haha

It was fantastic! John Butler plays the guitar like it's an extension of himself. His voice is amazing and every song is sung with passion. Brilliant song writing makes you hang on every word, dance enthusiastically and sing at the top of your lungs.

I wished I had the chance to purchase the sitting seats, which were right before the stage. The show was mind blowing, JBT absolutely wonderful, the guy vibe is sooo contagious! Cannot wait to see them play again.

First time seeing this artist, I was so blown away when he performed his song Ocean. This man truly feels the rhythms. Go see him you won’t be disappointed.

Such amazing energy during this show. Best version of Ocean I've heard live since 2007. And the VIP Meet & Greet experience was spot on!! I hope they continue to offer that in the future. Much love, JBT+!

Their talent is off the charts. I was mesmerized watching the drummer. He never stops! Beautiful venue and excellent band! Can’t wait to see them again. They gained another fan ✌️

Wife and I went for our 20th Anniversary and did the meet and greet with John before the show. Awesome and down to earth person and we enjoyed an excellent show!

Great concert! John Butler played a series of string instruments, such as acoustic and electric guitar, twelve strings guitar, banjo and ukulele. Always with emotion! The band is bigger now and, to me, there’s too much percussion. Nice place, everything was great! Now, please, come to Rio de Janeiro!

Brilliant show by John, he rocked the house on his own as his drummer was sick on the day. Hope that Grant gets well soon and that the trio makes it back to Berlin for a full show.

Absolutely incredible, my first real exposure to JBT hence didn’t know many songs but it didn’t matter. The skills of JB are mind-blowing and the things he can do with a guitar, I’ve never seen before and that 10 minute solo😲.... Ed Sheeran’s got shit on this guy

As usual they were on point. That was my 9th time seeing them and they were just as good as the first time. Can’t wait for the new album to come out. See ya in Detroit!

Absolutely amazing!! John Butler Trio does not disappoint! I didn’t want them to leave the stage. I could listen to John sing and play all night! Will definitely be seeing them again!

John was absolutely amazing during this concert! Such a wonderful stage presence, incredible voice, and overall a talented musician! I would love to be able to see him in concert again.
