Guns N' Roses

This was my first GNR concert, as I was not born until much after their stardom. Nonetheless, I was blown away by the fact that these guys can still play one hell of a set. Axl's voice wasn't in perfect health, but he did the best he could and still put on a good show. Slash is still a guitar god, and it was a pleasure to hear him shred like crazy. I would totally come back if GNR decided to do another set back in the Capital Region!

Good but could have been a lot better. It was great that they played for 3 hours and 15 minutes but they definitely could have trimmed about five or six songs out or possibly substituted other songs for some of the songs they did play. (Down on the farm, reckless life, hard Skool, absurd, TV eye, Wichita lineman never need to be played again.) Also absolutely everything about Ticketmaster sucks and they should be banned by federal legislation.

When I bought 2 seats to this show for $1200, my husband thought I was nuts. I spent my entire yearly concert budget on this one show, and YES, it was so worth it! By far one of the best concerts I have been to. They played for close to 3 hours! All of my favorite songs from middle school and beyond were performed, and it was like watching the band I saw in the Use Your Illusion Tour 30+ years ago. I was worried that this concert and the age of my rockstar heroes would tarnish my memories of the band (which sadly has happened with some other 80s/90s bands I have seen), but wow was I wrong. Axl jumped around the stage like he was in his 20's and Slash was absolute perfection. Duff and Rich threw out some sweet solos as well. How Axl belts out those songs for 3 hours and can perform again 2 to 3 days later I will never know. If anyone is on the fence about going to see this show due to the cost, pull the trigger and GO!

They still got it ! Axl sounded really good. Sure he can't hit every high note like he could 30+ years ago, but who can???! He can still bring it. The band was super tight and looked like they were having a great time on stage. My ONLY complaint is their FOH sound man. There was ZERO bottom end in the mix. You couldn't hear the kick drum or bass guitar the entire night. Rock concerts are notorious for actually FEELING the Low End. There was nothing....that was disappointing, but didn't take away from it still being a great night of music. Definitely worth going if you are a big GnR fan!

Never seen GnR before. 1st Carrie Underwood was phenomenal. She rocks like no other female artist. I was wondering how GnR would follow her. But again I've never been a die hard fan from yesteryear, also I'm a guitar player so here it is. The band is as much about Slash as Axl if not more so. He's good. My date said he's considered one of the best in the world. I don't think that. But he's very effective and does his thing and his persona is really what carries it. The other guitar player is excellent. Maybe technically better than Slash. Axl did well. He's got a big job for a mid-life guy. Maybe he could use a bit more physical training for a concert tour like this. His paunch is starting to show. He's still young enough to lose that. His voice seemed to loosen up as they progressed through the set. He keeps the action going...so kudos. GnR music overall wears me down after some time, since it's very hard and melodies can be rather monolithic. That said, I'm not familiar with much of their songs other than their hits. so I wasn't singing along. Over all it was a good rock show. And again, Carrie, a smart and excellent addition to their Nashville show.

Whatever you think of GNR, put it away. This ain’t your post 90s Axl, Slash, Izzy or Duff. To start with, they went live 3 minutes EARLY. It would appear Axls tantrums and keeping the crowd waiting hours (or even minutes) are gone. Axl looked the healthiest and happiest I’ve seen him in a long time and they all seemed legit humbled and happy to be there, cracking jokes, doing handstands just enjoying the energy of the crowd. This was an AWESOME show!

Very emotional. It’s been so long since the last time and mooooore time before that. I thought I should have forgotten the lyrics but my brain kept them in a save place through all these years. Axel is struggling with the voice but even though he keeps the tone. I think the songs are really too high for his current voice register. Even though he always giving a great show. 5 stars. Love them!

Great show, lots of energy and passion from GnR and Carrie Underwood as well. Sound was great as well. Having Carrie Underwood come out and duet a couple songs with GnR was fantastic as well. She can sing rock no problem! My only disappointment was the stage layout. When purchasing tickets it looked like the stage was going to be further back. But anyone with tickets in the first section on either side couldn't see into the stage without moving from their seats. But well worth the money to see live!!

The best night of my life <3 I cried so much 'cause it was one of my biggest dream. I'm a teenager and I play guitar and piano, I wanna be a guitarist and a pianist. My favorite guitarist is Slash, and when I saw him I realized how much I love him, and how much I love this band. Incredible concert. *I was also quite close to the stage. A dream that has come true.

Had a blast and am so glad we went!!! The venue was great! Parking so organized . The crowd in order. The staff at SAP were friendly and very helpful. The lines were fast . Mammoth opened and Wolfgang is a rare talent , with sincerity . His band was tight and we enjoyed it. Sound was good. And, GN'R started ON TIME! There was no waiting at this concert for anything. The graphics starting the concert were amazing and fun. Axl came on in a good mood, looking great, moving around , having a good time, smiling, and he did quite well considering his new vocal range due to vocal chord damage ( I am a die hard fan, and I will love Axl til the end) just happy to have him back! Slash! Are there any words!?! Duff! Awesome solo ..a great talent .... The sound was good and I have no complaints ..well 2. I wish I had gotten seats closer up, and the kids sitting next to us thought getting drunk and getting up to use the restroom every 15 minutes was really annoying. 3 solid hours of GN'R and a dream come true!

GNR grabbed the visually pulsating stage only 30 minutes after their scheduled start time so we considered ourselves fortunate. Slash & Duff's mastery was unmistakable & this genuine sense of enjoyment emanated from them collectively & individually. Richard Fortus was not far behind & shredded two or three for good measure. Axl, a legend in his own right, brought forth strong energy & delivered on "Mr. Brownstone," "Shadow of Your Love, " & a handful of others but he does appear to be struggling in his efforts to regain his iconic voice.

Great show!! Waited and saw the show at ACL front row and watched 3 other headliners at the main stage to see GnR up front. Slash was on and Axl was pretty good too. Duff rocked the bass and did one of his solo songs. Izzy did a solo too that was rocking as well. All in all. These guys still ROCK out!!! Go see them before you can’t anymore.

I had low expectations, remembering the Van Halen/DLRoth reunion tour, but the G-N-R Taiwan version of the Not in This Lifetime show was fantastic!!! The band with the reunited classic lineup members: Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, on bass, kicked ass and was one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended!!! Slash is Slash with his great guitar work and flow while Duff laid down the big bottom end groove. Axl still has the chops and the endurance to entertain at a very high level. With no opening act, G-N-R had almost four hours of stadium filling rock n roll energy that the younger Taiwanese crowd really got into!!!

I finally got to see one of my favourite bands perform live. Although some original members were absent from the line up that didn’t matter the setlist was huge although I thought the guitar solo although great was far to long but hey it’s Slash 🤘🏻🎩🎸 also felt that Axl was struggling with his vocals during the gig but apart from that it was great especially for me & my son at the front barrier with over 100,000 people behind us. There’s only one Guns n Roses 🔫 🌹🤘🏻

It was absolutely perfect! Best concert I’ve ever been to yet. Two opening acts: The Pink Slips: beautiful, rough vocals, heavy bass, energetic band. Manic Street Preachers: soft and emotional vocals, suspenseful sounds, great solos. Main Band, Guns N’ Roses: Like expected, they sound as good as on their records. Very entertaining and stirring, you can’t help it but to sing along or headbang xD Fantastic vocals and instruments, mesmerizing guitar work, energetic drums and thick bass as always, even though I wish Duff’s Bass would be a little louder. My personal highlights of the show: Mr. Brownstone, Coma, Don’t Cry, Nightrain, Paradise City, Better, Duff’s Solo song, November Rain, Covers: The Seeker and Black Hole Sun, Axl’s cute smile as we sang along to Heaven’s Door, Duff’s heavy Bass in Rocket Queen, pyrotechnics, Slash playing his Les Paul behind his back like Jimi Hendrix, playing the Voodoo Child riff and him doing a handstand at the end of the show. It was worth every penny!

It was awesome!!The guys on the stage really rock! Built to result we should call them: 3:30 of show with the most popular hits such as Civil War, Paradise city, you could be mine....A special thought for Soundgarden while they were playing Black Hole Sun!!Axel Rose is mostly the less efficient with his voice through the years it is not like an instrument. However they can all be proud it was really great!!:metal:Special thanx to Biffy Clyro from Scotland: looking forward to see them and n their own tour!!!!

Overall very enjoyable, although sound quality was indistinct and mushy for the first half - improving slightly in the second half. Getting into the venue was slow and disorganised, getting out even more so as we had to wait for the VVIPs to leave first. 2.5 hour set offered good value for money and the seats afforded a fair view of the stage. A rock fan rather than a Guns 'n' Roses fan, but a few songs were familiar. Worth going to see anyway.

Worst venue I've ever been to for a concert. No parking. Walked 1/2 hour as we could not get on a bus. 30 min queue for toilets. 30 min queue for bar. Worst was the huge 1 hour wait to get in! We all missed rose tattoo and listened from outside. Don't know what the stage looked like, because we couldn't see it in gold standing. Thank goodness the gunners were great.

great setup and awesome music!! it would have been great for them to have made a dramatic entrance and just would have loved to see them have interacted with the crowd even just once! some songs were changed do much you could not sing along to them. November Rain lacked the core emotion it is meant to carry with it!But had a great time and glad to see one of my beloved bands once in my lifetime!!

Amazing show with great visuals. I couldn't believe they played for around 3 HOURS!!! Axl actually was active and singing well and SLASH was on point and great as always. My only drawback was the sound. It's such a big venue that the reverb drowned out most all the vocals. Words were very hard to make out. But it was minor. Glad I went and it was an amazing show. Zakk Wylde killed it as well (vocals were also hard to hear).
