Dj Mira Joo

Already in the game for more than twelve years, Mira Joo is a resident DJ - artist of Be Massive Records and Corvin Club, which are among the main techno event organisers, labels & electronic music clubs in Hungary. She also runs She Fire to give more space to talented female artists in the country. She has started her residencies in Ibiza in the summer of 2016 at Privilege, Vista Club at Solid Grooves nights, Mambo Cafe, and Ibiza Sonica Radio. She started her musical career as a classical pianist, and collected her first vinyls and DJing experience in 2003. She has a highly personal take on music: among others, she did a research study on musical thinking at the academy, and laid the foundations of a new scientific theory for social development in 2017. In 2016, her unique sound, dynamic vibe, and her fiery, passionate dj personality were discovered by the masters as well: Carl Cox chose her to be the winner of his b2b Challenge and she won the Uner Remix Challenge and came in second in the Dubfire Mix Challenge of the biggest global dj competition of the world, Burn Residency, which made her one of the 3 winners out of 5000 applicants of the 4-month long program, mentored by Carl Cox, Philipp Straub, Dubfire, Uner, John Digweed etc. DJ & Producer
