Amita

Amita is a multi-talented artist who has been celebrated not only for her unique musical style and vocal ability but also for her tenacious drive and collaborative spirit. Amita is a singer, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist but above all, she is a student of music who is constantly honing her craft and working towards achieving her next goal.
At the start of 2015, Amita left her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona for Los Angeles to take her career to the next level. Her time in Los Angeles was filled with incredible opportunities. Among her favorite memories was singing backing vocals for Alessia Cara on The Ellen Show, releasing multiple original songs and music videos, working full-time as a musician in the world's largest entertainment hub, and meeting/singing for renowned artists such as Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, and Charlie Puth.
After enjoying 6 years in Southern California, Amita decided to return to her hometown of Scottsdale in 2021. Now that she's back home, Amita is performing more than ever (check out upcoming performances in the "Schedule" section of the website). In addition to performing and writing/producing new music, Amita is also pursuing her passion for the field of psychology and is currently beginning her Master's in Counseling at Arizona State University. Amita is excited to begin her graduate studies while still enjoying performing around the valley.
