Brimming with bubblegum angst, Cheyenne Benton breathes lyrical fire into the world of atmospheric indie pop.

With sincere and defiant lyrics, Benton creates an infectious sonic wonderland that balances retro nostalgia with audaciously futuristic instrumentation. Her explosive melodies and transparent storytelling are heavily influenced by her early years performing in musical theater. Drawing inspiration from a plethora of powerhouse matriarchs spanning multiple genres, Benton’s sonic and lyrical capabilities have been compared to the likes of Paramore's Hayley Williams, Marina & the Diamonds, Lana Del Rey, Phoebe Bridgers, Charli XCX, Amy Winehouse, and Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks.

Her highly anticipated self-produced debut album “Beautiful Chaos” was released in March of 2023, garnering critical acclaim from her rapidly growing following as well as the attention of local music industry veterans. Since Beautiful Chaos was released, Benton has been playing steadily throughout Southern California including The Casbah, Hotel Cafe, Soda Bar and several music festivals.

In 2024, the momentum continues as Benton's music has been played on 91X and the San Diego Music Awards nominated Benton for two awards including Best Pop Album for her album "Beautiful Chaos" and Best Video for "Batting Cages" which has over 20K views on YouTube. She also earned a nomination at the 2023 SDMAs for the song “Drinkin’ About U” for Best R&B, Funk or Soul Song.
