About EKA (BEL)
EKA (State of Flow, Be)
Born in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and based in Antwerp, Eka is a heart loving musician.
Music has always been a major part of her life. Brought up by a pianist / architect mother and an art teacher grandmother, Eka naturally followed her mother's footsteps and played piano at an early age.
Her passion for Electronic Music appeared at the age of 16. After attending a few DJ performances and being impressed by the technical possibilities, Eka decided to learn how to mix.
Within the EMStudios-Academy of Sound, Eka followed Electronic music classes and created her special sound representing her origins and current background: a mix of melodies, funky rhythms and vocals.
On top of being a resident at Igor Vicente’s State of Flow parties, Eka has played at different clubs and festivals (FUSE, Club Vaag, Ampere, IPSE, Eupen Muzik Marathon, Summer Music Festival,...). She works hard everyday to reach her goals and to improve her musical skills.
