About Aria - Monterey Women's Choir
Founded in 2012, Aria, is the newest choir dedicated to Women's Music on the Monterey Peninsula in Central California. Aria is a yearly auditioned choir that has performed in some of the finest halls and venues in Monterey and across the country. After only 2 years, Aria made it's debut at Carnegie Hall in 2014.
The sisters of Aria Monterey meet weekly to rehearse and build community and music together. We have even seen 4 "Aria Babies" born! It is an exciting time for Aria and the very special ladies who make up this family. Singing everything from the most cutting edge music, to songs that have stood the test of time, Aria loves to sing as many styles as possible!
"We are dedicated to the celebration of Women in the Arts as vocalists, instrumentalists, conductors and composers! Aria is a close family of sisters who celebrate life and each other by raising their voices in sweet song!"
