2DCAT was AMAZING to finally see live. Union District Oyster Bar and Lounge was the absolute WORST though.
2DCAT headlined the event, but the venue bizarrely tried to cut them off halfway through the set because some of the opening acts went (far too) long? It was very bizarre. 2DCAT also didn't play until very late into the night, and most of my friends had to leave before they even took the stage. In speaking with the band, it sounds like it was outside of their control and the fault of the showrunner and venue.
There were maybe 150 people at the venue, but there was literally no bartenders at the bar. It was completely baffling to us. Why would we pay money and then have to head to the downstairs bar to get drinks?
2DCAT's show itself was AMAZING. Their singer was terrific and they had the only music of the night that was danceable (too bad the venue was such where dancing wasn't really possible). Hoping they come back soon and to a venue that isn't nearly as bad!
