About Stagecraft School of Music and Performance.
* Beginner Guitar lessons *
The aim of this course is to get complete beginners playing a tune with confidence in a fun relaxed atmosphere.
Tuning - Guitar care - Music Theory - Reading chords and guitar tabs - playing chords - strumming - basic finger picking.
* Intermediate Guitar lessons *
Aimed at those looking to improve their skills. You know a few chords and want to improve your technique to play your favorite songs.
We will continue to build on skills learned in the beginners class, as well as looking at different styles of playing, more advanced chord structure and building a library of songs to play.
* Songwriting Club *
Have you ever listened to the radio and said - "Hey... I could do that!" Do you sing tunes to yourself all day long that no one has ever heard? have you endless pages of poetry you would love to see put to music?
A weekly workshop style class aimed to give you the skills and confidence to write the songs you have always wanted to. A place to meet others, learn some of the tricks of the trade and who knows - maybe write Balbriggan's next number 1 hit!
*Voice production & Stagecraft*
Do you want to perform, are you looking for somewhere to learn and fine tune your skill for stellar stage performance? This is the class for you.
Be it playing an instrument, Singing, Stand up comedy or Spoken Word - what ever your passion! Come and grow your skill and confidence in a fun environment with a view of putting on that all important show.
This is a fun eclectic class that covers every aspect of performance including:
Selection/writing of material - Voice Production, Movement, Rehearsal, Stage Confidence - Styling - Marketing - Technology - Public Performance
All of the classes are run in a group setting. If you are interested in individual tuition please do get in touch and we will see what we can work out for you.
