About WESTMOOR.band
The band WESTMOOR was formed in Milan (Italy) in January of 2017.
Coming from different active underground bands and backgrounds (punk rock and metal), the five members feel the need to evolve both musically and artistically.
The music could be defined as Rock/Pop, inevitably contaminated by Punk Rock and Alternative influences.
The lyrics reflect, positively and vigorously, on life experiences that allow each of us to gain consciousness of ourselves.
The debut EP “Braindrops” (recorded, mixed and mastered by Giampiero Ulacco) was released on March 2017 with the record label This Is Core.
After the EP release, Westmoor went on both an Italian and a UK tour. In addition, the band opened for Green day and Rancid at the IDays 2017 on the B stage, then opened for Crazy Town, and also performed a full acoustic set at the FIM 2017 (international music fair).
