Son of Paper

Son of Paper is a rapper of both Chinese and Korean descent from San Francisco, CA. Through music, art and film, Son of Paper is expanding the Asian-American narrative for all audiences. Both the SF Chinatown church community and the hands on teachers continue to propel and support SOP’s budding career in music, the arts, and activism.

Son of Paper has performed at approximately 30 shows from San Francisco, California to Los Angeles Connecticut. In 2019, SOP performed at include Trinity College, Noisebridge SF, and Yale University. In the past six months, Son of Paper was featured on five podcasts and two blogs. SOP guest lectured at the University of San Francisco to discuss his work and the phenomena of Asians in Hip-Hop.
