About Rilen'Out
Born in the streets of downtown Tucson, Rilen'Out! is a six-piece, female fronted Alternative Reggae-Rock band. Inspired by the beaches of Southern California, their high energy jams get the party riled out with crazy good energy.
Rilen'Out! uses head-bopping and raucous drums locked into rocksteady, upbeat skankin' guitar interwoven with deep and melodic bass lines to bring the beach party vibes to the desert sand. Alluring female lead vocals and soulful, high harmonies are layered on a bed of refreshingly beautiful and trippy guitar textures that give way to hard rock riffage and gritty DJ scratches.
Formed late in 2016, Rilen’Out! has already attracted a loyal fanbase. Right away, the six members knew they were a part of something special. “These are my best friends, my family, my band. Rilen’Out! has brought out my very best” says their DJ, GONZO.
Like the captain of a team of superheroes, lead vocalist Riley Grey, armed with her sultry melodies, catchy lyrics and magnetic stage presence, is backed up by a squad of badasses, each with unique superpowers of their own. Backup vocalist and rhythm guitarist Craig “Styles” sings killer exquisite harmonies, lead guitarist Tony Perry sounds like a cross between Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour and The Edge from U2. Bassist Levi “Evil Eye” and drummer Carlos “Bam Bam” are a powerhouse duo that never fail to get the crowd pumped and grooving.
Soon after winning round three of Tucson’s “Battle Royale,” the local battle of the bands, Rilen'Out! began recording “Dinero,” their first single. They’re rapidly gaining a strong foothold in the local music scene playing regular shows at Tucson’s top venues and opening for national touring acts.
Rilen'Out! brings together fans of all types. From hip-hop to punk rock, everyone feels included. In fact, radical inclusiveness is one of the things that makes a Rilen’Out! show special. Everyone riles out together.
