About G.o.D - Generation on Dope
The story of Generation On Dope is a tale of persistence. Starting in the early 2000s as the infamous Razzle Dazzle, they managed to survive the decline of glampunk evolving their sound in a "too metal to be punk but too pop to be hardcore" way. Their latest album, "South Of Nowhere" (2016), with its raw sound, deep dark lyrics, and dramatically epic moments, sounds like AFI got caught in a brawl with Gallows at an Iron Maiden concert, with a Chuck Palahniuk's commentary. Nihilistic anthems and heavy italian accent.
