Gramma Vedetta

Gramma Vedetta was born in 2016 after Daniele settled down in London and wanted to be on stage again. Coming from a recent southern/stoner project, he wanted to go back to his teenage years desert rock, grunge and heavy rock roots.

With his brother-in-law Marco, bass player and music producer, they started writing songs and drinking ales on a regular basis somewhere in South London

After cooking some tunes, dealing with home recording and drum programming they found themselves in the need of amps to 11, groove and sweat. They found what they need during the first audition: “Please set guitar and bass f**** louder”, said the drummer.
Meet Valadis: a rock steady drummer with 20 years of experience in stoner and rock bands in Greece.

They quickly started building a name among audience and promoters, being able to gig regularly in London venues, where distortion, humour, sound fx, pedal boards and ozzy-esque vocals are served on top of a solid rhythmic section.

How they sound it’s easy to say. Power trio influenced by 70s and grown up during the Stoner and Grunge Era of the 90s... and don't forget they were living IN small town during their tennage years so no distractions and full time into music.

Having recorded a full album during the second half of 2017, their next move is to release it to the public as singles.
And while they are writing new songs, they want to gig more and more to make new friends and increase the size of the Gramma Vedetta Family
