Muse

Muse was incredible. Portugal. The Man… not so much. Muse absolutely delivered in Atlanta. From the moment they hit the stage, the energy, musicianship, production, and overall performance were outstanding. Matt Bellamy and the band sounded fantastic, and Muse once again proved why they are one of the best live rock bands out there. They know how to put on a SHOW. Unfortunately, the opening act was a completely different story. Portugal. The Man was a terrible choice to open for Muse. Their set felt flat, uninspired, and completely mismatched with the energy you expect leading into a Muse concert. Instead of building anticipation and getting the crowd fired up, they sucked the energy out of the venue. By the end of their set, I was just ready for it to be over. For a band with Muse’s reputation and the level of production they bring, they deserved a much stronger supporting act—someone capable of getting the crowd energized and setting the stage for what was coming. Thankfully, once Muse took over, none of that mattered. They completely changed the atmosphere and reminded everyone exactly who we came to see. Muse: 10/10. Absolutely phenomenal. Portugal. The Man: 2/10. Easily the weakest part of the night. Overall, an amazing Muse concert that could have been an incredible night from beginning to end with a better opening band.

I did not actually go. Unemployed, I cannot afford the cost of tickets, let alone gasoline, to drive my marginally functional 17-year-old Honda Civic to L.A. to enjoy what I am sure was an outstanding performance. I was asked the question by bandsintown via emaiI simply because I did a Google query to see if Muse was on tour. That's when I found out it was out of my price range. You should probably confirm a ticket is purchased prior to sending out such surveys. The rating above is neutral since I wasn't there -- and because a rating is required to post.

I started listening to Muse in 2003 when I was 12 and 23 years later for my 35th birthday I finally saw them live. This was such a fun show from start to finish. Im so grateful to bands like Muse who are still out there putting on shows of that caliber even 23 years later. Im still reeling this and I dont want to come down. Amazing show.

A rock and roll extravaganza was witnessed as MUSE came to town (July 18th at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA) on The Wow! Signal tour. From start to finish, top notch performances from, Matt, Chris, Dom as well as Dan were witnessed as were great special effects behind them. The red and black theme was prevalent with their attire as it has been in the months leading up to the album release and any marketing of the album and pre-release songs. A must see for any RnR music fan (my 12th time seeing the band since 2007) as this a true rock concert experience with singalongs, jumping around and fist pumping throughout,

​Overall: 9/10. Muse never fails to deliver! 🤟🏻 ​Just got back from seeing Muse on The Wow! Signal tour at the RBC Amphitheatre! As expected, Matt’s vocals were incredible, his stage presence was magnetic, and his guitar skills were absolutely insane. A huge shoutout has to go to Dom and Chris, they absolutely killed it on the drums and bass. The pacing and tracklist made for an excellent atmosphere, and the energy was top-tier from start to finish. ​That said, I do have a couple of minor critiques. While it was great to hear the usual "bangers," I really wish there had been a bit more variety and some deeper cuts we haven't heard live in a long time. Also, since this is the tour for the new album, I was dying to hear more off of it, especially "The Dark Forest" or "The Sickness in You & I." Also, while the pacing was great, I really wish they had closed out the encore with a much heavier track to end things on an absolute high. ​On the production side, it was pretty good, but honestly not quite as badass or mind-blowing as what I've come to expect from a Muse show. I hear they’re saving the bigger, crazier set pieces for the winter leg, which is a massive bummer for those of us in North America who won't get to see those plans come to life! ​Still, a fantastic night. They are still one of the best live acts on the planet! 🤘

It was an epic spectacle, even way out in the lawn area! I appreciate their creative production on this tour. It was the first time I seen Muse live and it was well worth the $90 (sigh…Ticketmaster) I ended up spending on a lawn ticket. Was there mostly for the classic bangers, but their newer music is a vibe! A lot of people seem to like ‘Night Shift Superstar’ and I can see why. That bass 😎✨

Finally got to see Muse for the first time and they were absolutely incredible. The energy, the sound, everything was just on another level. I love O2 Academy Brixton, it was the perfect setting for a smaller, more intimate gig, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Honestly, I was more than happy paying what I did, their performance was flawless and completely worth it. Already can’t wait to see them again when they tour in November!

Quels artistes !!! Entre LA voix de Matt et sa maîtrise de la guitare (12 comptées durant le show), Dom et Chris des musiciens de qualité, le sourire de Dom si agréable et qui semble prendre autant de plaisir que nous le public, tout était chouette. Avec en plus de la pyrotechnie, de l'électronique, des effets lumineux de fous, de la mise en scène.... Alors merci Muse pour tous souvenirs en mémoire.

Rien à dire sur le groupe, je critique seulement le vélodrome Sonorisation horrible, trop de graves, beaucoup d'écho, difficile à distinguer les solos de guitare et les discours (j'étais tout en haut, porte 10 zone AB) Si on ne connait pas Marseille (que c'est mon cas) faut se plier en 4 pour trouver des informations pour se garer, aucune info ou lien sur les sites de vente pour ces infos là, même pas l'option pour réserver une place de parking du Vélodrome.

I saw this band ten years ago. They were flawless then and they are just as flawless now. I told my fiancé— “you haven’t been to a concert until you’ve been to a Muse concert”. After this show, he knew I was right. Muse and Evanescence brought the f***ing house down. I cannot emphasize enough how much they ROCKED!!!! SEE THEM if you haven’t yet — and even if you have!! This is my eighth time and I’d still pay good money to see them again!!!

Die Show war toll aber überladen. Durch Massen an Konfetti etc viel unnötiger Plastikmüll, der noch Tage später um die Halle herum auftauchte. Ansonsten recht gute Songauswahl und gute Performance. Allerdings fing die Band mit 45 min Verspätung an, was uns geärgert hat. Wir hatten Sitzplätze und hätten die Show auch gern sitzend genossen...leider standen oft Leute auf, was zur Folge hatte, dass viele, die eigentlich sitzen wollten auch aufstehen mussten, um etwas zu sehen. War beeindruckend aber aufgrund der og Punkte auch bisschen anstrengend. Das Geld war es wert!

Unglaublich!! Das Konzert war wie zu erwarten das Juni-Ereignis und hat uns nicht enttäuscht. Die Lieder lösten jedesmal eine musikalische Druckwelle die uns jedesmal packte. Das Publikum tobte und das Wetter spielte mit. Sehr geile Bühnenperformance! Nicht nur die Lichtshow war atemberaubend, die Riesen-Alien-Puppe war ein Highlight des Abends sowie die Ballons bei "Nights of Cydonia". Muse hat uns gerockt und beim nächsten MUSE-Konzert werden wir garantiert dabei sein! Danke an die Band für das spektakuläre Ereignis!

It was awesome, but the last time I saw them in amphitheatre, sound was so much better. I don't know what it is about these large stadium type venues that the sound can be so strident and lacks clarity. I know they can do lots more there in terms of show production and props, but to me the most important thing is sound and I'd trade the flashy show for better sound any day. His voice is among my favorites and their instrumentation and technical talent is the best... So I want to hear them well, g*****n it!

Most extravagant show I’ve ever been to. Stage production was extraordinary. So many cool lights, visuals, props, costume changes, etc. The stage performers were so entertaining and well choreographed. The whole band sounded really well. Although the set list missed some of my favourites, it still felt complete, and it was enjoyable. The band sounded really good. They performed really well, and it was impressive how they would play so many songs back to back with so few breaks. And the giant alien hanging over the stage was jaw dropping. Certainly a concert to remember. This band is so remarkable!
