About Domas Žeromskas music
The 18-year-old Lithuanian pianist, who demonstrates both an excellent technique and eclectic stylistic taste, shows real promise as a future jazz star. Domas cites Jacky Terrasson, Taylor Eigsti, Bob James, Gerald Clayton, David Benoit, Orrin Evans & Billy Childs as his biggest influences.
His journey began with lessons from Lithuanian jazz veterans Oleg Molokojedov and Tomas Kutavičius, followed by Vytautas Labutis, who recognised Domas’ talent and included him in his own groups. The pianist has played as a member of “Silent Blast” at international jazz festivals in Serbia, Ukraine, Estonia and Poland, but his collaborations today reach much further.
In 2018 Domas was awarded a full scholarship at Berklee College of Music.
His debut album “Infinite Itinerant”, released in February 2019, showcases his original music, composed and arranged during his teenage years, some tunes dating back to 2015. Along with an abundant team of Lithuanian musicians, including Jonas Drema, Vytautas Labutis, Mindaugas Vadoklis, Liutauras Janusaitis, Eugenijus Kanevičius and others, the album features guest performances from Braxton Cook, Orphée Noah & Will Mallard.
