S.S. Vendetta

S.S. Vendetta is a Punk band from Dallas, GA. This 7 piece band, consisting of a 3 piece horn section, takes their music and performance seriously, building a following in the Metro Atlanta area. “Skank” & “Hearts and Carnies”, SSV’s first 2 demos, showcase the typical upbeat, fun aspect of Ska. As the band progresses and matures, their newer music brings a new approach to the genre with a fuller sound, catchier melodies and more meaningful lyrics. With all members coming from different backgrounds: Indie, Metal, and Southern Rock; the fusion of influences not only brings a musical element to the table, but also the overall live performance. With dual guitars, an Upright Bass, a drummer, and a Trombone, Trumpet and an Alto Sax, the band is a sight to see on stage and never lack the motivation to get the crowd into the music; Even if that means jumping in the crowd and moshing with them. In 2012, the band was featured by Creative Loafing for playing two nights at DragonCon which opened up the band to a wide range of new friends and fans. They plan to continue playing bigger and better shows while writing new music for their full length album during 2013. Look for S.S.
