Joey McIntyre’s Freedom Phase 2 was less a concert and more a moment suspended in truth. He sang with the kind of honesty that quiets the noise — where every lyric felt lived-in, every note carried something deeper. I took his advice, put away my phone and just enjoyed the moment.
There’s a rare magic in the way he opens his heart on stage, not to perform, but to connect. His voice — warm, effortless, timeless.
Joey reminded me that freedom isn’t loud or distant — it’s found in authenticity, in art that breathes, and in the courage to simply be.
Thank you, Joey, for the beauty, the honesty, and the heart. 💙💙💙

This show was everything I had hoped for and more!!! Joey said it best, “less is more”. The concert was intimate, with no flashy gimmicks. It was full of soulful vocals and interactions with the audience. He sang songs from his new album and those he wrote, performed solo or were on his previous solo albums. Still on a high from his concert, can’t get enough!

What an incredible night! The concert was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I loved how intimate the venue felt—it made the whole experience so much more personal and engaging. The energy in the room was amazing, and the cool, laid-back vibes added to the magic of the performance. It’s the kind of show that reminds you why live music is so special.

About Joey McIntyre
Best known as the youngest member of NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, Joey McIntyre has enjoyed success as a solo artist as well. His solo career started with his debut album “Stay the Same” which went certified Gold and delivered a top ten single, written by McIntyre.
He has worked extensively as an actor in film and tv. McIntyre has a long history in theatre as well, including roles in both “Wicked” and “Waitress" on Broadway.
Through it all, McIntyre has bore a passion to write and record music. Since the NKOTB reunion in 2008, the group has released three top ten albums on the Billboard 200. On those albums, McIntyre co-wrote more than half a dozen including “Still Sounds Good” and the Blockhead anthem “Block Party.” Writing for his band comes with some added pressure. McIntyre notes that he certainly wants to deliver for the guys, so the stakes are high. He states "It’s humbling and incredibly rewarding to have my work embraced by my bandmates and our fans.”
McIntyre has finally released his highly anticipated solo project "Freedom" which is notably his first solo record in almost a decade. He further states, “I’ve been itching to create music that feel personal, asking real questions and speaking to new ideas. It’s time.”
