HeIsMellowD (He-Is-Mellow-D) Real quick, I was born Johlil Andrew Brown-Reynolds on 7/21/1994. As an artist, I take pride in being myself. Born and raised in south jersey, I grew up on a lot of r&b, Jay-Z and Biggie. I got my initial start in music with the Knarley Movement, making party anthems, and touring the east coast. Since going solo, my sound has become more melodic, with heavy energy, and is extremely catchy. I deem my genre, “Happy Trap.” It’s best described as a tranquil turn up. I want my music to be an escape for any listener even if it’s just a brief second to help their mind go to a better place and to make sure everyone stays mellow.
