The Witches' Dream

Im Sommer 2011 wurden die Songs geboren, die heute den Kern von "The Witches` Dream" bilden. Gitarrist Marcel Schiborr schrieb damals getrieben von einem inneren Drang Songs in für ihn untypischer Manier: die Gitarren sollten klanglich viel offener, nicht so sehr verzerrt sein. Der Style inspiriert von Retro-Rock Bands, die Akkorde teils dissonant, teils klassisch und um die Songs sollte sich eine Geschichte um den Traum einer Hexe spinnen. So arbeitete er wochenlang, bis die Songs fertig waren.
Dann, einige Jahre später, spielte Matt Bauer die Drums unter der Regie von Sascha Schiemann ein, und das Ganze kickte die beiden so sehr, dass sie beschlossen, daraus eine Band zu machen. Am Bass stieg dann Ramona Wandolski ein. An der zweiten Gitarre hext mittlerweile Laura Schulte.

In summer 2011 the songs came to life which today form the core of "The Witches´ Dream. Back then and driven by an inner force guitarist Marcel Schiborr wrote those songs in a somehow untypical way. The guitars should sound more open with less distortion. The style was inspired by Retro-Bands, the chords partly dissonant, partly vintage and around those songs a story about a witch´s dream should be plotted. This in mind he worked for weeks until the songs were finished.
Then some years later Matt Bauer recorded the drums for the songs directed by Sascha Schiemann and both were blown away so they decided to form a band. Ramona Wandolski joined them on bass.Meanwhile, Mick Neuschäfer conjures the second guitar.
