Struck Out

Out of the festering cesspool of South Wales in a run-down market town called Neath comes Struck Out. They'd be hailed as a diamond in the rough if they were cut and polished. But the truth is they are far cry from the mainstream ideals of expensive production and radio friendly songs. Struck Out have been described as everything from grimey, shifty bastards to "that band with the pink fluffy drum kit" But look past the hype and slander and come face to face with a wall of sound that takes no prisoners. Turbocharged drumbeats backing up infectious guitar riffs fronted by a throat full of grit and a mouth full of obscenities. Struck Out steer clear of childish pop-punk and bring old school punk rock into a new era. After taking a 2 year hiatus Struck out cam back together in January 2013 to start working on new material. After taking a 2 year hiatus in 2011 Struck Out came back together in January 2013 for 2 more shows. Struck Out's final gig was May 3rd 2013 in the Duke, Neath.
