About Lyoness

Lyoness is a rock and roll band from Hertfordshire, blending huge riffs with incredible groove. Featuring current and former members of Gallows and The Ghost Riders in the Sky.

The band is made up of frontwoman, Gigi Gold and lead guitarist, Steph Carter.

Lyoness was built on the passion for collaborative songwriting, high energy performances, and the love of rock and roll.

Gigi and Stephen met in 2011 when he was in the UK punk band, Gallows. They fell in love and have been writing music together since 2012 creating the band The Ghost Riders in the Sky.

One month after their first band practice, they debuted Lyoness at a Record Store Day festival in Watford, UK in April 2019, closely followed by supporting Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes in the Watford Colosseum.

Building on the collaborative writing style, Lyoness is spending time developing the band’s sound while playing shows around the UK and recording demos between releases.

They’ve released 5 singles in their first year as a band, available on all streaming platforms as well as YouTube. The Demon Beat, was featured exclusively on Kerrang! Magazine’s website before the official release, and ‘Throne’ and ‘Vulture and the Snake’ were both featured on BBC Radio 1 Rock Show and Kerrang! Fresh Blood.

Their upcoming EP is due to be released in spring 2022, with the first single "The Silence" out since 29th Oct.

Lyoness came back after an 18 month covid hiatus to a tour with Rise Against and is currently playing around the UK.

Sad to see Lyoness calling it a day, seen them many times and they always put on a good show, it was also nice to see Matt back in the line up for their last performance
