About Benthos
Formed in 2018 in Milan (Italy), the band consists of Gabriele Landillo (vocal), Gabriele Papagni and Enrico Tripodi (guitars), Alberto Fiorani (bass), Alessandro Tagliani (drums). Benthos claimed experimental progressive metal, combining geometric heavy riffs with ethereal atmospheric sections, evolving a unique sound. The band appeared for the first time in 2019 in Milan as a main support for the show of The Contortionist during their European tour. In the winter of 2019 the band started to record their upcoming debut album "II" with Matteo Magni at Magnitude recording Studio.
After a long quarantine during the hard days of the Covid, the band finally sings with the U.S. label Eclipse Records.
