About Aubrey Lynn
"There's gonna be no stoppin' this Southern Belle from raisin' hell..." and that's for sure. Aubrey Lynn is storming through the independent music scene -and kickin’ up a cloud of Red Dirt along the way- to make sure they know that she's arrived. "The Texas Songbird" is a full time Texas Recording Artist and Entertainer based in Princeton, Texas. Backed by Yellow Rose- Aubrey’s band named as tribute to her Late Father and Music Mentor, Larry Waller, she has been “pourin’ out her heart & soul” performing her sound-her way, with songs that speak her mind (and a live show that you can FEEL from any seat in the house.)
Aubrey Lynn was named Entertainer of the Year 2014 by the Academy of Texas Music, 2013 New Female Vocalist of the Year by Texas Regional Radio, 2017/2014/2013 Female Vocalist of the Year (BigStar97 Music Awards). Aubrey Lynn’s original artistry is breaking barriers in Texas Music, and it won’t stop with just one genre. Aubrey Lynn’s songwriting and vocal prowess stretches from Rock to Blues, Country to Soul, Funk, to Pop and R& B.....and even Metal. Packin' a full album release, & the 1st and 2nd of a multi-disc series on her sophomore project "Chameleon," you can be sure to hear her versatile vocal range everywhere you go. Just keep your ears open for a sultry southern voice -smothered in soul- with a splash of whiskey.
Aubrey Lynn grew up in Garland, Texas and began singing at age 2. She attended a fine arts school in grades 9-12, studying music in concert band and marching band. She has performed in bands that range from country and classic rock, to blues and r&b all over the Dallas/Ft Worth area with such acts as Night Shift (blues & classic rock) Silver Streak (blues & classic rock) Larry & the Lizards (country, blues & classic rock) and The Texas Connection (country, pop, blues, classic rock – variety). Aubrey has also performed internationally with the Okinawan band, “Ni Ichi Nana” (country, r&b, blues, classic rock), and “The Pearl Snap Ramblers” (country) at local music venues on the Island of Okinawa, Japan while stationed there during her active duty service in the United States Marine Corps. Also while on active duty, Aubrey Lynn was a National Anthem Singer for her unit and performed at official command ceremonies. As a teenager, Aubrey Lynn spent many Saturday nights performing at the Garland Opry in Downtown Garland, TX.
Aubrey Lynn recorded a 5 track EP in Nashville, TN in 2008 at Sound Emporium and Omni Studios and later completed recording her first full length album of original music at Audio Dallas Recording Studio in Garland, TX. The Album "Raisin' Hell" was released in August 2011. Aubrey Lynn's newest project "Chameleon" is being recorded with Award winning Producer Dustin Hendricks at WarRoom Recording Studios in Princeton, Texas. This multi-disc series is being recorded by style and genre. "Chameleon: Dressed in White" (Country) the series' 1st disc, was released in May 2014. The 2nd installment, "Chameleon: Black Hole" (Rock) was released in September 2017. Aubrey Lynn is currently recording the series' 3rd installment, "Chameleon: My Face Turns Red," Aubrey Lynn's collection of Love songs, as well as the project's 4th disc of blues music, "Chameleon: Into The Blue." "My Face Turns Red" is set to release in the Spring of 2019.
Aubrey Lynn is a Veteran United States Marine Corps Sergeant and a Mother of 6.
