Forefront

Forefront is an energetic 4-piece indie pop-rock band from the Mother City. They are influenced by the likes of Maroon 5, Shortstraw, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band consists of Nick Andrews on guitar and vocals, Taylor Jackson on guitar and vocals, Nicholas Rous on bass and backing vocals, and Jason Dionysopoulos on drums and synths. Over the past year, Forefront have honed their new feel-good sound and performed on some of South Africa's biggest stages. The band's highlight performances of the 2015 year include opening the Main Stage at Rocking the Daisies 2015, performing at River Republic and at The Assembly alongside bands like The Plastics, The Nomadic Orchestra, John Wizards and Early Hours. Off the stage, Forefront has been playlisted and interviewed on a number of campus radio stations and performed live on the Expresso Morning Show on SABC.
