Proper Nonsense aka, Prop NON Clik was formed in the summer of 2008(active since 2011) when 3 rebelious emcees from the south side of San Jose, California named Obslurrd, C-section sal, and Du Rite decided it was time to finally join forces and run a muck on the bitchass music industry and piss on the traditions of "safe hiphop." Blending elements of hardcore rap, reggae, metal and punk along with alcohol induced goodtime rhymes has made Proper Nonsense one of the most bi-polar yet original bands to hit the underground in years. One day in the summer of 2009 Proper Nonsense decided they needed a mascot of sorts, someone that could truly symbolize the meaning of Proper Nonsense...They realized there was no better man for the job than the one, the only, Lawn Chair Mike. Mike grew up in northern California's drug infested, in your fuckin' face punk rock scene and embodies what it means to be your own person and truly not give a fuck. So when you come to a Prop Non show you better expect the unexpected...Lawn Chair Mike's a wild son of a bitch. Ever since that day, these four rebels from the norcal bay area have been on a mission to spread the word of personal freedom and give the free thinking masses some REAL music to make their everyday lives a little more bearable. Proper Nonsense addresses numerous topics in their music but the main theme is just to have a good fuckin' time in life. They make music for all the real rebels out there and don't try to be anything they're not.
