About Tatum - Jackson
Tatum Jackson based out of Dallas TX signed to
the Independent Label Stage Left Ent. Tatum grew
up on Soul, RnB and Funk music for most of his
life and has been a singer-songwriter for about 10
years. He holds a new twist to Soul/R&B music
and gives it the flavor of this generation’s style.
Tatum plays piano as main instrument as well as
drums and organ. He says that Prince is a big
inspiration for him, both lyrically and
arrangement-wise.
It’s very easy to instantly compare Tatum Jackson
to older, legendary Soul or R&B singers, or even
the new generation of crooners. The great thing
about his latest track “Midnight Queen” produced
by himself, is that he has found his own groove,
his own voice.
Tatum’s talents and unique sound can be
attributed too much and many. Tatum has shared
stages with some of the world’s greatest
performers. These artists include: Lenny Williams,
Shirley Murdock, Lalah Hathaway, K-Ci and JoJo,
Bobby Brown and he currently tours with Lucky
Peterson. Tatum’s named mentors include: Darrell
"Delite" Allamby, Paul Jackson, Lucky Peterson,
and Curtis King.
