Phunk Junkeez are an alterna-rock rap hybrid that formed in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona in 1991. The Phunk Junkeez fused punk, funk, disco and hip hop to form their own brand of "trip hop."
The band was signed to Trauma/Interscope Records during their height of popularity throughout the mid 90's, and toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Japan. The band has released a total of 8 albums over the last 27 years.
There have been several member changes throughout the course of longevity of the band. In 2016, the 1993 members reunited briefly to construct and release new material playing a series of No Class Reunion shows. Watch for Phunk Junkeez dates in your town.
