Sam Downing is a singer/guitarist/pianist based in South Yorkshire UK.
"Sam's husky gravelly vocal style ensures that he deserves to belong within the same faction as the likes of Rod Stewart and Kelly Jones, allowing him to explore Rock and Soul with Justice. This said, his softer side makes him as good as any at delivering a modern ballad."
As well as been a fantastic vocal performer Sam also accompanies himself with Piano and Acoustic Guitar. What makes him unique. The fact he manages to play his accompaniments at the same time. Sam recreates the sound very similar to a full band using only his Guitar and Keyboards. (Please specify in booking if you would like Guitar & Piano).
This along with Sam being a solo artist makes him generally very competitive in the price range making him a popular choice for Weddings, Corporate Events, Functions etc.
The range of material he covers is very broad, and can cater for any event or crowd. He performs music from Many classic artists including The Beatles, U2, The Rolling Stones and also mixes this with music from more contemporary artists including The Killers, Kings Of Leon, Oasis, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran etc. The general rule is ask and he can accommodate!
