More than a decade in the making, Heather Ferguson is now recording and performing with some of Victoria’s most accomplished jazz musicians. Her daily life is filled with joy and a lot of music. It’s a second act for her, one she is embracing with all the enthusiasm and hard work she puts to everything she does.

Music is a lifelong passion she didn’t ever think would happen for her. But later in life the stars aligned, “I am an incurable, lifelong learner”, says Heather, “and with music I just find the work gets more interesting the deeper you go.”

You can find her on streaming platforms including Spotify, YouTube and Apple. Spotify alone has streamed her recordings nearly 100,000 times worldwide and her work is now found on many curated playlists. Now she is bringing her own songs and experiences to performance.

Her second album is in the works and will include her own songs as well as co-writes with Attila Fias - all recorded with the fabulous musicians she works with regularly and the great arrangements of jazz standards from her ongoing collaboration with Dr. Tony Genge.
