About The ScareCrow Project

I started The ScareCrow Project in my room in 2004. I had already been playing in bands for years, but as a drummer, creative control isn't very high on your "list of jobs." That list contains things more along the lines of: keep the beat better, stop singing, and try to keep your shirt on. Although those are all things that any good drummer should be happy doing, I've found over the years that I need more. The ScareCrow Project is that more. No one can tell me how fast or slow a SCP song should be. No one can tell me that the bass shouldn't play during the intro (although not being a very good bass player, maybe that isn't such a bad idea.) But most importantly, I can not be told that no one will like these songs, because I know in my soul that I love every one of them. -Boon NEW ALBUM, GOODBYE KESTREL, IS OUT NOW!
