Hedendaagse rhythm & roots met sterke invloeden uit de Zuidelijke staten van Amerika. Eigen werk en originele bewerkingen van bekende en minder bekende nummers lopen moeiteloos in elkaar. De band heeft twee albums op haar naam staan en speelde afgelopen jaren op menig festival en muziekpodium in binnen- en buitenland en stond in Duitsland in het voorprogramma van de legendarische Jerry lee lewis. Tijdens ‘Lord I’ve Tried Ev’rything But You’ zien we eindelijk een bassist die niet weg te denken is, wat een dikke bass-lijn legt deze Roel van Erp neer – te gek! EN With an enthusiastic stage presence The Mississippi Delta Brothers from Rockcity Eindhoven are entertaining the audience with their unique mix of rhythm & blues, rock ‘n roll, country and soul. You can call it rhythm & roots with a strong influence from the Southern states of America. Their own songs and surprising covers of familiar and un-known songs are melted into one musical experience. The band recorded two albums and is working on their 3th album that will be released around march 2014 together with their brand new website. In in the second part of the year a professional DVD will be released of a one hour show that will be taped live. They have played on countless festivals and stages in the Netherlands and abroad and opened the show for the legendary Jerry lee Lewis at a concert in Germany. Behind his piano he easily talks in between songs and prepares the audience for the approaching main acts.
